An artist of representational painting

in many media and sculpture.

His work includes many subjects : marine,

portraiture (both sculpture and painting) and still life.

Whether a particular light effect, a softly textured mountain scene or storm-filled clouds over a rolling sea, his paintings create dramatic, powerful and well-defined moods.

Tom received his formal art education in London, England.

With a scholarship from the Heatherley Art Foundation, London, he was able to study sculpture and drawing in the classical discipline.

Tom lived and worked for over 30 years in America;

he and his wife now live in Dartmouth , Devon,  in the UK .
